Privacy Policy
Last updated October 2, 2026
Furora is software for pet grooming and boarding businesses. It is published by Lillian Ruff Pet Spa LLC, New York, United States ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information Furora's apps handle and why: the Furora staff app on the web, Furora for iPhone, Furora TV (on Roku, Google TV and Fire TV) and Furora Reception, the desk app.
A business that uses Furora decides what it keeps about its own customers and their pets. If you are a customer of a salon that uses Furora, that salon's privacy policy applies to you; you can find it on the salon's booking pages, and the salon is the one to ask about your information.
Information Furora Handles
- Staff accounts. A staff member's name, email address, phone number, role and permissions, how they sign in (passkeys, and passwords stored only as a one-way hash), and a log of the changes they make.
- The business's records. What a business enters to run its day: customers, pets, appointments, stays, payments, invoices and messages. We handle this on the business's behalf and only to provide Furora to it.
- Devices. To pair a television or a desk with a business and keep it showing the right content, Furora TV and Furora Reception send a random identifier the app creates for itself, the device's model and software version, the app's version and the network address the request comes from. Furora for iPhone uses a notification token so it can deliver the alerts a staff member has chosen.
- Error reports. When a screen fails to load, the app sends a technical report naming the screen and the error, so it can be fixed.
How We Use It
Only to provide, run, secure and support Furora for the business that uses it. Furora's apps contain no advertising and no tracking or analytics from third parties, and we do not sell or rent personal information.
Service Providers
Furora runs on services that process information on our behalf, each only for its own part of the job:
- DigitalOcean, which hosts Furora in the United States;
- Cloudflare, which stores encrypted backups;
- Stripe, which processes card payments a business takes;
- Postmark, which delivers the emails a business sends;
- Telnyx, which carries the calls and text messages a business sends and receives;
- Apple, which delivers notifications to iPhones;
- Google, which suggests addresses as one is typed;
- Intuit QuickBooks, when a business connects its accounting.
Roku, Google and Amazon, who provide the TV platforms and app stores, handle any information you give them under their own privacy policies.
Keeping Information Safe
Every connection to Furora is encrypted. Staff see only what their role permits, sign-ins use passkeys or hashed passwords, and backups are encrypted before they leave the server.
How Long We Keep It
For as long as the business uses Furora, or until it asks us to delete it. Encrypted backups are kept for about two months and then deleted.
Children
Furora is a tool for businesses and is not directed at children under 13.
Your Choices
Staff can ask their business's Furora administrator, or us, to see, correct or delete their information; Deleting an Account or Data says how. A salon's customers should contact the salon.
